Charity Governance

The Lord Selkirk Robert Fraser Memorial Pipe Band operates as a registered charity in Canada (registration 786232678 RR 0001).

Our executive is formed from elected parents/guardians of band members at the Annual General Meeting, held each October, and serve as volunteers for one-year terms.

Our constitution and Bylaws outline the band's structure as well as roles and responsibilities for those involved in the operation of the band.   The band has additional policies in place, which may be made available from the band's secretary when appropriate.

Our Parent Handbook provides more informal information to existing and prospective families on how the band is run.

You can find information on the band's charitable status and financial reporting on CRA's website by searching for our full registered name: Lord Selkirk Robert Fraser Memorial Pipe Band.
