Looking for an exciting, screen-free activity that builds teamwork, confidence, and coordination? The Lord Selkirk Robert Fraser Memorial Pipe Band is officially recruiting youth! We kick off in September, and we make it incredibly easy for young people to try something completely unique. You can start anytime throughout the season. 

Why Parents and Youth Love Our Band:

• 💰 Zero Cost to Start: The entire first year is FREE—perfect for trying a new hobby without the financial commitment.

• 🎶 All Gear Provided: No need to buy expensive instruments. We supply the practice chanters and drum pads/sticks!

• 👨‍🏫 Dedicated Youth Instruction: Beginners get 1 to 2 hours of focused, patient instruction to learn the basics at their own pace.

• ☀️ Summer Friendly: We take July and August completely off, so your family summers remain completely open.

Practice Details (Saturdays at 9:00 AM):

• Weekly Rehearsals: Grace Community Church (280 Caron Road, Headingley)

• First Saturday of the Month: Winnipeg Mennonite School (250 Bedson Street, Winnipeg)

• New Students rehearse from 9-10 am 

• Fully kitted band members rehearse from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
